THE MANAGER’S PLAN
Wednesday · 10:00–16:00 · Floor service
Wednesday’s six-hour floor shift is open. Existing assignments stay in view.
Repeat shifts or copy service days to build the next week. Publish changed shift details when you are ready to share them.
02 / WHEN PLANS CHANGE
A swap is more than a yes or no. See which service it affects, who could cover it, and who is already committed—before making the decision.

The person, exact shift and station come into the manager’s review together.
When you approve, Vividish checks role, availability and overlapping work again—so the decision stays connected to the plan.
03 / AFTER THE PLAN MEETS THE DAY
A schedule describes what you planned. Clock-ins, breaks and clock-outs describe what happened. Put both beside the record your back office reviews.

THE DAY, AS RECORDED
ONE REVIEWABLE TIME RECORD
An open record is not a final total.
Shift, person and punches stay together.
The employee clocks in at 09:57 for a 10:00 start. The recorded time is kept separate from the planned six-hour shift.
Recorded breaks follow your restaurant’s break policy. Here, a 30-minute unpaid break is deducted from the elapsed time.
Approved, clean records can feed the payroll CSV export. Approval and export are explicit actions—not a bank payment.
Create recurring shifts or copy a service day. Review the new assignments and publish the plan deliberately.
Staff can submit availability requests. Managers see affected shifts and review the change rather than treating a request as instant approval.
Define roles, pay settings and permissions. Employees have their own schedule, requests and earnings; manager tools stay permission-controlled.
Build your opening rota or bring a busy, established team onto one shared plan. Start with the part of the week that needs the most clarity.
